P&O Cruises are offering you the chance to win a 15 night Caribbean cruise holiday for two. You and a friend could be sailing through the tropical waters of the West Indies, visiting a host of idyllic locations including Barbados, St Lucia and Antigua, on board the P&O Cruises ship, Ventura.

The West Indies are the chain of glittering islands that stretch between North and South America.

From November 4, 2011, the P&O Cruises ship Ventura will visit no fewer than nine of these gems on a spectacular 15-night cruise.

Your holiday starts with a flight to vibrant Barbados, the best-known island that is a perennial favourite with the British thanks to its superb water sports, glorious beaches and great nightlife.

Ventura then sails to cosmopolitan St Maarten, with its buzzing casinos and duty-free shopping, and lush Tortola, one of the British Virgin Islands that is a favourite with yachtsmen. Next comes Grand Turk, with lots of old-fashioned Caribbean charm and excellent diving, and St Kitts, known for its verdant forests, golden beaches and colonial architecture.

Antigua, the next stop, is famous for having a beach for every day of the year and also for the historic Nelson’s Dockyard. That’s followed by St Lucia, with its iconic Pitons and volcanic features, and Dominica, the “eco” island with dense jungle, waterfalls and lots of wildlife both on land and in the sea.

The final stop before returning to Barbados and an overnight flight home is laid-back St Vincent, close to the beautiful islets of the Grenadines.

At each destination, there will be optional excursions, from island tours to catamaran rides to zip-wiring through the rainforest — or you could just find the perfect stretch of sand.
