Mini Cheonggyecheon river that washed away

Only in Seoul, I can along the river in the middle of the city and found many interesting things.

Apart from Seoul Tower, Cheonggyecheon River (read: chiongkyechion) is a favorite picnic spot in the city. Along six kilometers of the river flow is arranged such that there are interesting attractions at every kilometer. Because of its length, this river flows through some of the popular tourist areas like Dongdaemun.

To achieve the Cheonggyecheon, there are many options subway line. But the station closest to the river's most attractive locations are dark blue (get off at station Jonggak) or green (down at the station Euljiro il-ga). In addition to close to the Cheonggyecheon, close also to the Gwanghwamun Plaza, large field with flower beds and fountains are also no less cool place to visit.
At the end of the river there is Cheonggye Plaza which is a broad field that is often used as a place various events, such as music concerts or exhibitions. On one side of the field, there is a slim blue dome which at first glance like a red Christmas tree. The architectural design is named The Spring is a designer and Claes Oldenberg.

Marks the start of the flow of the river is a pool with a fountain of water every hour game show. From the pool was also poured a waterfall that continues as the Cheonggyecheon stream.
Cheonggyecheon restored again in 2003 as part of city greening projects. Crossed by 22 bridges and stone steps, cheonggyecheon the ideal place to relax Seoul residents. At lunchtime, along the river are filled by employees of the building around which enjoying their lunch.

There are also many school children who spend time with my friends there. While at night, many families and couples enjoying the romantic atmosphere of lights decorating.
Colorful flowers summer relic was seen along this river Cheonggyecheon. With a cool breeze and clean air, enjoying the sights of interest accompanied by clear streams splashing sound is a luxury for me, because things like this I might not enjoy in Jakarta.

Further down, left and right side wall on the river often feature unique decorations. The closest of The Spring is The Wall of Culture, which displays photos Cheonggyecheon from time to time. Walk a little farther, we can find a location which is where the women wash clothes in the old days.
There is also a wall of hope (the Wall of Hope). This wall display of about twenty thousand pieces of porcelain ceramic pieces that each contain pictures and messages of Koreans around the world (living in South Korea, North Korea or outside Korea), which hopes to unite Korea. The wall stretches 50 meters with a height of two meters is the porcelain wall tiles in the world.

So many designs are installed along the Cheonggyecheon stream, it is not surprising if some parts are often finished filming locations Korean dramas and movies. At first glance I could see the stone steps that are used as a filming location Kang Dong Won, "Jeonwoochi".
